Wakil Ahmed Hiron, Staff Reporter of the daily Samakal and Nazmul Ahsan Raju , Staff Reporter of the Daily Manabjamin have been elected President and General Secretary of Law Reporters Forum on Friday respectively for the year 2019-2020.
A three-member election commission led by Ashraf Ul Alam conducted the election at LRF’s Annual General Meeting at the Supreme Court Bar Association.
The forum’s outgoing President Sayeed Ahmed Khan chaired the event while outgoing General Secretary Hasan Zabed conducted it.
Other office bearers include Hira Talukder of Shomoyer Alo (Vice President), Motlu Mallik of Alokito Bangladesh (Joint Secretary), Fazlul Haque Mridha of Jagonews24.com (Treasurer), Manzur Hossain of Radio Today (Organising Secretary), Tanvir Ahmed of Bhorer Kagoj (Office Secretary), Mahidi Hasan Dalim of risingbd.com (Publicity and Publication Secretary) and Masud-ur Rahman of channel24 (Training and Welfare Secretary).
Executive committee members are S M Noor Mohammad of Amader Notun Shomoy, Zahid Hasan of DBC Television, Khaledmul Isalm of Ittefaq, and Bahauddin Al Emran of Bangla Tribune.
