Law enforcers should remain cautious during the Eid cattle market

The incident of snatching is increasing nowadays in the capital city. Besides, the incidents of robbery, mugging and extortion have also marked a sharp rise in the city and its adjoining areas recently. As a result, the anxiety among the city inhabitants has been growing about the law and order situation.
 According to the RAB sources, around 1309 accused were arrested in 564 drives in the capital city on the charge of snatching, robbery, mugging, Ogyan and dope party in the last five months. Generally, Eid-ul-Azha is the time when people possess cash money and incident of snatching occur manifold.
 RAB media wing director told this national daily that they have taken special initiative for monitoring the cattle markets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. They will also remain cautious about the manufacturers of fake note ahead of the Eid.
 Law enforcers have taken some initiatives for monitoring the cattle markets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. According to the DMP crime data, 61 snatching incidents took place in the capital city in last five months. On 28 June, in the capital’s Pallabi, a snatcher killed a Pathao driver named Raja Mia by cutting his throat. Earlier in March, dentist Ahmed Mahi Bulbul was stabbed to death in the capital’s Shewrapara area.
 The numbers of law enforcement agency members, vigilance equipment, training, arms and ammunition of the country’s several law enforcement agencies were multifold. The citizens of the country provide their salary and now they should provide their service to the people.
