Laser Skating Club emerged as the champions of the Speed Skating event of the 6th National Roller Skating Championship on Sunday. The event came to an end at the Laser Skating Club ground in Dhanmondi.
Laser Skating Club claimed 19 gold medals, 13 silver medals and four bronze medals. Uttara Friends Club became the runners-up of the meet bagging nine gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals. Azad Sporting Club finished third earning four gold medals, four silver medals and six bronze medals.
Tomorrow the National Roll Ball Skating Competition will be held at the Laser Skating Ground in Dhanmondi Abahani Club.
After the competition, State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh will be present with him as the special guest.
President of Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation and Principal Secretary to Prime Minister of Bangladesh Abul Kalam Azad will preside over the prize-giving ceremony.
