Today is the birthday of popular actress Sumaia Lara Lotus, popularly known as Lara Lotus. There is an interesting thing about her birthday. Lara’s younger sister Samia Raka Mou’s birthday is also today. These two sisters were not only born on February 11 but also in same time (7:30pm, Sunday).
On the occasion of Lara and her sister’s birthday, she doesn’t have taken any special programme. She along with her sister will celebrate the day with family members including parents and only brother, Lara said.
Lara Lotus is now engaged with shooting of several TV shows and drama serials. Recently she returned from Cox’s Bazar to take part in shooting for Mohon Khan directed drama serial titled Neer Khonje Gangchil, which is being aired on ATN Bangla now.
While talking about her engagement in media Lara Lotus told this correspondent, “Now I am hosting two TV shows on Bangladesh Television (BTV) titled Geetialapon and Chitrokotha. Therefore, my acted drama serial titled Ghashphul-er Gaan, directed by noted actor and director Abul Hayat, is being aired on BTV two days per week.”
“70 per cent works of my acted movie titled Ajo Chithi Ashe, which is being directed by Sarwar Tomijuddin has already been done. Its story was written by late Tajuddin Ahmed’s daughter Simin Hossain Rimi MP,” Lara said.
Therefore Lara is taking preparation to take part in shooting of a new movie which story was written by Md Jafar Iqbal, Lara said.
