A three-day long ‘Edumaker Laptop Fair 2015’ will begin on Thursday (Nov 12) at the Bangabadhu International Conference Centrre (BICC) at Agargaon in the capital. The aim of the fair is to showcase the latest version technology of different brand companies.
Officials of the event organizer Expo Maker disclosed the details of the exposition in a press meets held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in city on Monday.
The organizer company Expo Maker has been arranging the fair for the16th time in a row. The participating companies will bring the latest technologies in 7 pavilions, 13 mini-pavilions and 49 stalls at the Exposition.
The local and international technology brands will showcase their devices with special offers and gifts at the three-day laptop fair. At least four seminars/symposiums will be held at this expo beside exciting gaming competition.
Md. Abdul Fattah, Chairman of Global Brand Pvt Ltd, M K Pasha Khan, DGM Business Development, Executive Technologies Ltd, Md. Al Fuad, Country Product Manager, Asus Global Ltd, Salauddin Mohammad Addel, Retail Account Manager of HP and Protap Saha, Head of Marketing of Dell, were present.
Expo Maker Head of Operations, Nahid Hasnain Siddique said that, “We are organizing this expo from 2008. Huge participation from student and young crowd crossed our estimation in last couple of years. Arena of the exposition has been broadening this year for visitors to explore the fair in comfort.’ The visitors will able to get touch with latest technology as well as to buy their desired devices.
There are many renowned brands already confirmed their participations at the event. Some of those are Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony, Twinmos, Gigabyte, Delux, Extreme, Logitech, Dlink, Ainol, Xaomi, HTS, Microlab, Prestigio, Eset Antivirus, Sis Inflexion Point etc.
Participants like, Smart Technologies Limited, Global Brand (pvt) Limited, Computer source, Flora Limited, Lenovo, HTS, Gadget Gang 7, DX Generation, Microlab, Computer Village, AGD IT Solution, B-track Technologies Limited and many more are also likely to participate in this expo. Tablet Computer, Internet Security Product and other laptop related gadget will also be revealed at this expo.
The Expo gate will remain open from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Entry ticket price is Tk. 30. But it is free for school kids and disabled persons. School kids should be in school uniform or show ID card to avail free entry.
Muhammad khan, Strategic Planner of Expo Maker said the ticket money collected from this expo will be donated for the treatment of the journalist Latiful Haq, Sub-Editor of the daily Kaler Kantha. He is suffering from Leukemia. He needs around Tk 40 lakh for his treatment.
