Sabbir Hossain :Sri Lanka clinched the ODI series 2-0 beating Bangladesh by 61 runs in the second ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday.Sri Lanka registered a narrow 13-run win over the hosts in the first ODI at the same venue on February 17.Electing to bat first, Sri Lanka piled up a mammoth 289 for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 50 overs and then they dismissed Bangladesh for 228 in 43 overs.Mushfiqur Rahim hit a captain’s knock of 79 from 83 balls with five fours and two sixes while opener Anamul Haque made a polished 42 off 46 balls featuring seven boundaries.Besides, Shakib Al Hasan and Nasir Hossain added 24 and 22 runs respectively to the Bangladesh total.
