Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr Lee Juin said, language education can play important role to know a country and a nation and developed language carries the culture and identity of a nation.
Learning of Chinese language, Chinese culture will unveil the door of knowing the Chinese nation, he added.
Chinese Ambassador was addressing the inaugural ceremony of Chinese language course in the Internation Islami University, Chittagong at a function arranged at Hotel Agrabad in city on Sunday .
Chinese Ambassador formally inaugurated the course of Chinese language as Chief Guest. With the cooperation of Conficus Institute, Chinese course was inaugurated in IIUC . Vice chancellor of IIUC Prof. Dr. AKM Azharul Islam presided the inaugural session of the language course. Vice chairman of IIUC trust and founder member of IIUC Dr. Kazi Din Mohammad was present in it as special guest.
Pro-VC of IIUC Prof. Dr. Abu Bakar Rafique delivered address of welcome in it. Among others, Director of Chinese Language course coordinator Humayun Kabir and student Shahabuddin. Deputy Director of SDSDBUD Mahfuzur Rahman conducted the function, a sources of IIUC said.
