Language movement hero Abdul Matin has died at the age of 88 on Wednesday morning. He breathed his last at around 9:00am at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital of old age complications. Earlier on August 20, Abdul Matin was shifted to BSMMU from a city hospital. He was at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital from last Friday. The language hero, known as Bhasha Matin, became partially paralysed following a brain stroke.
