Police arrested wife and son of landlord of Kalaynpur “Jahaj Building” for allegedly not taking information from the tenants and hiding information of militants from police. They were identified as Mamtaj Parveen and Majharul Islam.
Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police [Mirpur Zone] Masud Ahmed said the name of landlord is Atahar Uddin Ahmed. He is an expatriate. His family members live on the first floor of the building.
Meanwhile, the DMP yesterday in its facebook page released pictures of nine slain militants and requested all to give full names and details of them if anyone have information.
DMP Commissioner said: “The joint forces recovered 13 improvised explosive devices [IED], 19 detonators, 7.62 bore rifle, some magazines, swords, knifes, machetes, hammer, two flags marked with ‘Allahu Akbar’ and several black pajama-panjabis from the militants den.
