The Land Service Week started all over the country with an objective to bring dynamism in land management and make people aware of their rights to Land. Keeping in mind the theme of this year, “Bhumi Seba Digital, Bodle Jachche Dinkal” (Land Services Digital, Days Changing) a discussion meeting was held at Saidpur, Nilphamari on Sunday.
The chief guest of the meeting was Upazila Narbihi Officer, Md. Nasmi Ahmed. Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman, Md. Ajmal Hossain and Woman Vice Chairman, Sanjadia Bagum Lucky were the Special Guest of the discussion meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, the land management was highlighted in the slum video and the meeting was presided over by the Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Saiddpur Upazila, Md. Ramji Alam.
Saidpur Upazila Election Officer, Md. Rabuil Alam, Agricultural Extension Officer, Agronomist, Md. Salauddani, Deputy Assistant Engineer in the Department of Public Health Engineering, Md. Abdum Salam including others took part in the discussion related to the digital service of land management. The meeting was attended by officials from various departments of Saidpur Upazila Administration, people’s representatives from Saidpur Municipality, Union Council’s Representatives, and Journalists.
In the Land Week discussion meeting, it has been requested to ensure online entry of land owners with mobile number, national identity card, photo, copy of ledger and copy of previous submission for online land development tax registration.
According to the Saidpur Upazila Land Office, the land service week has started all over the country from Sunday (June 6). It will continue till June 10. During this service week, the Assistant Commissioner (Land) Office and the concerned Union Land Offices have entered the holding information of all land owners online for collection of online land development tax, acceptance of e-namzari application, issuance of e-namzari DCR and ledger, acknowledgment of land settled among landless will be done.
