The land office in Sailkupa upazila in Jhenaidah ahs stopped the illegal construction work on khas land at Fazelpur village of Sailkupa upazila in Jhenaidah as the lease owner was constructing the work violating the government rules. He was also asked to explain why he was engaged in construction work on the land given leased on an year.
Sumi Majumder, Assistant Commissioner of Land also an executive magistrate said, some Sauad, son of Abdul Aziz of Bijulia village under Saillkupa upazila was fenced a piece of land at Fazelpur village, just opposite to the Women’s College in Sailkupa.
Later, he piled sands, bricks and other construction materials to construct building there, while, the land was given lease to him for a single year on the basis of renewal every year.
But the man had started construction work which was just the violation of government order. She ordered to produce if there is any documents available with him, AC Land said.
