UNB, Sirajganj :Miscreants torched a local land office in Ullapara upazila early Saturday, during the ongoing nonstop transport blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.Uapzila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Shamim Alam said a gang of miscreants set afire the land office at dead of night, burning down valuable documents.On information, two firefighting units rushed in and doused the flame after onehour of frantic efforts. However, no one was arrested in this connection. Deputy Commissioner Billal Hossain visited the spot in the morning.
