Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury on Sunday said his ministry will launch a hotline to receive any all kinds of complaints directly regarding the irregularities in land offices across the country.
“Bribery, corruption and terrorism in land management will be stopped. We have taken the control of land offices. A hotline will be opened in the ministry to receive all sorts of complaints directly,” he said, addressing the inaugural function of the 116th Survey and Settlement Training Course at Fisheries and Livestock Training Center ground in Savar.
Land Record and Survey Department Director General Md Taslimul Islam presided over the function addressed by, among others, Land Secretary Maksudur Rahman and Land Record and Survey Department Director Fazlur Rahman, said an official release.
