Lalmatia Club posted a five-wicket victory over Green Leaf Cricket Academy in the super league match of Dhaka Second Division Cricket League held on Monday at Jahangir Nagar University ground in Savar.
Asked to bat first, Green Leaf scored a decent total of 221 for 7 from their allotted 50 overs with Zakirul Ahmed scoring 88 runs.
Meraj Mahbub claimed two wickets for Lalmatia giving away 30 runs.
Chasing a winning target of 222 runs set by Green Leaf, Lalmatia hardly had to sweat as they comfortable reached home in 48.2 overs for the loss of five wickets.
Rakibul Hasan top scored with 71 runs while Rajib Kumar contributed 61 for Lalmatia.
Rubel and Inzamamul Haque shared two wickets each for Green Leaf conceding 36 and 39 runs respectively.
