Bangladesh Film Censor Board issued a clearance certificate to filmmaker Nurul Alam Atique’s forthcoming film titled Lal Moroger Jhuti. The news was confirmed by the director himself. The film has received an uncut censor clearance
certificate and is likely to be released in December.
Director Nurul Alam Atiq confirmed the news and said, “Now we got the censor certificate in hand, we are planning to release the film in December, the month of our victory. Primarily, December 10 or 17 are being considered as the release date for Lal Moroger Jhuti.”
Member of the Censor Board and noted actress Aruna Biswas said, “We gave uncut censor certificate to the film Lal Moroger Jhuti after watching it. It’s a remarkable one. Every actor in the film has done a great job.”
Story of the film is based on the liberation war, which received a government grant in the fiscal year 2014-15, spent six years to make starting from 2016. The crew completed shooting in different areas of Kushtia, Tangail and Gauripur of Mymensingh earlier last year.
The film will showcase actress Ashna Habib Bhabna in a completely different look. The film also stars Laila Hasan, Ahmed Rubel, Ashok Byapari, Ashish Khandaker, Joyraj, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Elora Gohor, Jyotika Jyoti, Dilruba Doel, Swagota, Shahjahan Shamrat, Dipok Sumon, Khalilur Rahman Kaderi, Saikat, Jubayer, Ananta, Matiul Alam, Hasimun and many more. Under the banner of Pandulipi Karkhana, the story and screenplay of Lal Moroger Jhuti was also done by director Nurul Alam Atique himself.
