Amid enthsusiasm and interest, lady DC Anjana Khan Majlish took corona vaccine first of all in Corona Vaccine Booth at Chandpur Sadar Hospital at 11 am today, Sunday. Earlier Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni formally inagurated this drive through teleconference .In her speech, she sought sincere co-opeartion of all to make this countrywide drive against Corona problem a grand success. Then a senior staff nurse of Covid-19 Ward of this hospital took this vaccine. After her, one by one 17 other keenly interested people took vaccines voluntarily amid much interest and enthusiasm at the Corona Vaccine Booth.
Those who took vaccines in the inaugural time at this booth are Freedom Fighter Munir Ahmed,(75), journalist Golam Kibriya Jiban(63), Civil Surgeon Dr Md Shakhwatullah, Chandpur Paura Mayor Jillur Rahman Jewel, Deputy Director Islami Foundation Khalilur Rahman, National Security Inspector Shah Arman Ahmed, Chandpur Medical College Principal Dr Jamal Salehuddin, ADC Saleh Mahmud, District AL President Nasiruddin Ahmed and General Secretary- valiant Freedom Fighter Abu Nayeem Patwary Dulal, Faridganj Upazila Chairman Adv Jahidul Islam Roman, Dr Harunor Rashid Sagar, Chandpur Puranbazar Degree College Principal Ratan Kr Majumder, Dr SM Shahidullah, Ms Hanny Hakim Shimu, Residential Medical Officer Dr Sujauddowla Rubel and BMA General Dr Mahmudun Nabi Masum.
They all took this vaccine with smiles on their faces. None looked afraid at all. They took rest for half an hour and left with smiles for homes and office works hale and hearty.
Meanwhile in all other eight Upazila Health Complexes, similar drive against Covid was launched amid enthusiasm.

Civil Surgeon Dr M Shakhawatullah has told this correspondent that so far today , a total of 160 people took vaccines in the entire district. All are hale and hearty. Govt has allocated 72 thousand doses for this vaccine in the district. As many as 10 Vaccine Booths have been opened in Sadar Upazila and 21 others at all other Upazilas.
