UNB, Chittagong :
A day labourer was killed and two others injured as a chunk of mud from a hill collapsed on them while cutting earth in Anwara upazila early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Lakhkhan Das, 32, son of Chintaharan Das of Malkhana Bazar area of the upazila. Sub-inspector Mostafizur Rahman of Karnaphuli Police Station said three labourers, including Lakhkhan, sustained injures while a heavy chunk of mud from the hill collapsed on them while they were cutting it early in the morning.
