Bangladesh Labour Party, Chittagong Unit called dawn to dusk hartal in Chittagong tomorrow(Monday) protesting the police remand followed by arrest of party President Mostafizur Rahman Iran .
President of city Labour party unit of chittagong Alauddin Ali sources said in their emergency meeting at party office on Friday, LP decided to enforce dawn to dusk hartal in chittagong .
General Secretary of LP city unit Hamdullah al Mehedi told this reporter that their central president was arrested from Fakirapool area of Dhaka recently and given one day’s police remand. He said if their president is not granted bail after end of remand period , they will enforce hartal across the country after that, sources said.
