The Third Labour Court of Dhaka yesterday summoned four persons including Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus of Grameen Communications in a case filed for violating rules under the Labour Law.
Chairman of the court Rokibul Islam on Monday passed the order asking the accused people to appear in the court on February 6.
Dr Yunus is the Chairman of the Grammeen Communications. The other accused people are its: Managing Director Naznin Sultana, Director A Hye Khan and Deputy General Manager (DGM) Gouri Shankar.
According to the case statement, Inspector of the Department Tariqul Islam visited Grameen Communications office on October 10, last year and found irregularities and violation of Labour Rules.
Serestadar of the court Jamal Uddin confirmed the news to media people.
