National Institute of Laboratory medicine and Referral Centre Director Prof Dr Abul Khayer Mohammad Shamsuzzaman has claimed that former shipping minister Shahjahan Khan’s daughter has been ‘mistakenly’ given the negative report of her coronavirus test.
Taking responsibility for providing the wrong report, he said, “The problem was created due to the mistake by the data entry operator.”
Prof Shamsuzzaman came up with the clarification in a press conference on Monday.
Immigration officers at Shahjalal International Airport barred Oaishe Khan, daughter of former shipping minister Shajahan Khan, from boarding a London-bound flight on Sunday after she showed a false COVID-19 negative report.
