Ambassador of Kuwait in Dhaka Abel Mohammed A H Hayet on Monday paid a courtesy call on Opposition Leader in Parliament Raushon Ershad at her residence in the city.
During the meeting, they discussed various bilateral issues including employment of Bangladesh nationals in Kuwait and investment environment in the country, said a release.
Raushon said Kuwait is the country’s genuine friend and the bilateral relation between Bangladesh and Kuwait is strengthening.
Both the friendly countries have been demonstrating similar attitude on bilateral and international issues, she added.
Abel Mohammed A H Hayet lauded the government’s ongoing development activities and said the county has achieved remarkable progress in various sectors including women empowerment.
He also lauded the role of Jatiya Party in the parliament as the opposition party.
