After a break of 15 years, Champion of Lux-Channel i Superstar-2002 Kushum Shikder is coming with a new song for the music lovers and her fans.
Composed by Hridoy Khan and written by Kushum herself she will be present with a new song titled Nesha. In the afternoon of August 3, music video of Kushum song has been released on Youtube.
After releasing the song Kushum is getting huge response from the listeners. Two months ago, after releasing teaser of her new song she started to get response from all. She is very much excited in this regard.
While sharing her feelings in this regard Kushum told this correspondent, “After releasing the song I have been receiving huge response from all. I am really impressed with its response. In fact, I got 90 per cent positive response, five percent negative and rest five were mixed reactions. One thing I have realized that if there is an international standard something listeners appreciate it. I am really glad about my new song.”
Receiving training in Nazrul songs and classical music from Nazrul Academy Kushum completed her courses from Ustad Phul Mohammad and Ustad Morshed. After winning the crown of Lux-Channel i Superstar she detached with music. Later acting became her main profession.
Kushum Shikder’s first solo album Tumi Aj Koto Durey was released in 1999. In 2000, her songs were found in two mixed albums.
Kushum acted first TV play was Arun Chowdhury’s Biyer Angti. Mahfuz, Tareen and Shahriar Nazim Joy were her co-actors in that play.
Now Kushum acted two serials – Astha and Bou Bibi Begum – are being aired on Ntv and Bangla TV respectively.
