Sri Lankan cricketer Nuwan Kulasekara has been arrested and released on bail after he was involved in a fatal road accident.
The accident occurred Monday when the car Kulasekara was driving collided with a motorbike, killing the rider on the spot.
Citing initial investigations, Sri Lanka Cricket says the motorbike rider had lost control while trying to overtake a bus and was flung into Kulasekara’s path on the opposite direction.The seam bowler played for Sri Lanka in March in a WorldT20 game against the West Indies and had been overlooked for the tour of England and the home series against Australia that followed.
