Kujendra Lal Tripura, MP, has been made chairman of the Taskforce on Rehabilitation of Returnee Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
The Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry on Sunday issued a gazette notification appointing him as the chairman of the taskforce replacing Jatindra Lal Tripura.
According to the Chittagong Hill Tracts Peace Accord, the taskforce

was formed to expedite the repatriation and rehabilitation of tribal refugees and internally displaced persons.
The Chittagong Divisional Commissioner as ex-officio is the member secretary of the taskforce committee.
