A coordination meeting on security issues was held at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) on Sunday.
The meeting was held at the conference room of the administrative building at 3:30 pm on the security and other issues of students living outside of the campus.
The meeting was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Dr Mohammad Alamgir. The University Registrar (Acting) GM Shahidul Alam, Director (Student Affairs) Prof Dr Sobhan Mia, Provosts of different halls, Assistant Registrar Sikder Noor Islam, Security Official Mohammad Sadek Hossain Pramanik attended the meeting.
Chairman of Zogipol Union Council Sheikh Anisur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Khan Jahan Ali Police Station Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman, SI of Aranghata Thana Md. Rabiul Islam and the owners of the houses where KUET students are staying were also present at the meeting.
