KSRM Group,a leading steel manufacturer of the Country subsidiary SR Shipping bought their first ship in the 2004.
Their first ship was MV Fatima Jahan. Brave Royal Ship Management (BD) Ltd is in the management of all ships in SR Shipping. These vessels are operated in the first class Hull and Machinery Insurance and in the cover of P & I Club, the highest meaning of the Classification Society.
Another bulk carrier or open ship has been added to the country’s leading SR shipping fleet. The bulk carrier of 56 thusand,14 tonnes is a new addition to their fleet of Supermax and Handymax bulk. The ship was built in 2008 has been renamed Jahan Brothers-2 after purchasing SR shipping.
“We have already taken ownership of the ship and added it to our fleet,” said Sarwar Jahan, Deputy Managing Director of SR Shipping. The vessel will make SR shipping more efficient to meet the growing demand for our customers by cargo bulk caring. ‘
He said that it will help create new employment opportunities for Bangladeshi sailors, as it will help the government earn foreign currency.
