One hundred and thirty seven more Bangladeshi workers, including eight women, were deported from Saudi Arabia on Sunday night.
Two flights of Saudi Airlines- SD 804 and SD 802- carrying the workers landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:20pm and 1:30am respectively.
With the fresh deportation, a total of 454 workers have returned to the country in the last five days while the Brac Migration Programme provided emergency aid to them including food and safe return to their houses.
Shariful Hasan, Chief of Brac Migration Programme said a total of 24,281 Bangladeshis returned home from the KSA in 2019.
