After the first look of Kristen Stewart’s transformation into Princess Diana was unveiled last month to much media frenzy, more photos from the set of Spencer are now emerging.
In the new photos, Stewart looks unrecognisable as the late Princess of Wales at a five-star hotel in Kroonberg, Germany, doubling as the Sandringham Estate – sporting her iconic featured mushroom haircut, donning a long-sleeved cream blouse.
Earlier, Stewart shared her feelings about playing Princess Diana with Jimmy Kimmel: “I feel sort of the same way about her. I didn’t grow up with her maybe in the same way. I was really young when she passed away…it’s hard not to feel protective over her. I mean, she was, like, so young.” Penned by the Locke screenwriter and Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, the biopic revolves around Princess Diana’s dilemma as to whether she should walk out of her rocky marriage to Prince Charles.
Pablo Larraín’s Spencer will hit the theatres this fall, just ahead of Diana’s 25th death anniversary.
