Mohammad Ismail Hossain has joined Bangladesh Krishi bank (BKB) as Managing Director recently, says a press release.
Prior to his joining, he was the Deputy Managing Director of Agrani Bank Limited. He started his banking career in ICB as Senior Officer/Financial Analyst in 1983.
Ismail Hossain obtained post graduation degree (M.com) in Finance from Dhaka University. In his chequered banking career, he performed responsibilities in ICB, Rupali Bank Limited, Ansar VDP Unnayan Bank and Agrani Bank Limited with honesty and expertise .
Specially he played a vital role in loan disbursement and recovery at his working period in Agrani Bank Limited. Beside this, he held important positions in different departments and kept an extraordinary contribution in making investment policies and policy implementation of ICB. He comes of a respectable Muslim family of Barisal district.
