The Korea Cup Taekwondo Championship, a regular event of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) with financial support of South Korean Embassy in Dhaka, will begin tomorrow (Friday) at the National Sports Council Gymnasium here.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak MP will inaugurate the three-day meet in the morning. South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Ahn Seong-doo will also present in the inaugural function.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Shikder will be the chief guest at the closing function Sunday afternoon.
Some 500 male and female players from 22 teams are expected to participate in the meet.
