A four-member cultural team lead by Song, In Hyun, President of Minduggi, a traditional and cultural institute of Korea called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office on Tuesday.
Chairman of the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies Sudip Chakrabarty and Prof Israfil Shaheen of the department were, among others, present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed different bilateral issues specially about strengthening cultural bondage between Korea and Bangladesh. They stressed on enhancing joint collaborative programmes with Minduggi and the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies of DU. DU VC Prof Arefin thanked the Korean cultural team to visit the university.
