A four member delegation from Chungnam National University (CNU), Korea led by Prof Ki Kwan Yoon is visiting Daffodil International University (DIU) from 1st July to 31st July 2014 on the occasion of World Friends IT Volunteers Program 2014. The team will take classes for 3 weeks from July 06 to July 24, 2014 in DIU and conduct short courses on Korean language and culture and computer programming.
The other members of the delegation are Jisoo Yoon, Dongchul Kim, Deou Kim, students of CNU. The delegates held a discussion meeting with Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees of DIU on Monday at university conference room. Prof Dr M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of DIU welcomed the delegates.
The discussion meeting was attended by Prof Dr Engr A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Prof Dr M Fokhray Hossain, Director (International Affairs), Dr Touhid Bhuiyan, Head of the Department of Software Engineering and Mohamed Emran Hossain, Director (Administration) of DIU.
In the meeting both university discussed possible sides of mutual cooperation like student exchange and opening Korean Study Center (KSC) in DIU.
