Korea trains SEU students on IT

An inauguration ceremony of a month-long IT Training Program was held at the Seminar Hall of Southeast University (SEU) on Monday. Vice Chancellor of SEU Prof Anwar Hossain was present at the event as the chief guest, which was organized by the Department of Career Service.
The month-long training program will be conducted by Korea IT Volunteers (KIV) for SEU students. KIV Representatives, who are also students of Korean Universities, will train up around 150 students of SEU.
They will also exchange ideas with each other about their own experiences about IT sector.
Among others, Pro Vice Chancellor of SEU Prof Dr Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, Registrar Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, psc (Retd), Representatives of KIV Myungah Kim and Seoyeon Lee and Deputy Director of DCS Afruza Sultana addressed at the event. Chief Coordinator of BOT, SEU Trust Wing Cdr. Syed Ahmed Kabir, fawc, psc (Retd), Chairs of different Departments, Faculty Members, and students were present on the occasion.
