The Kool-BSJA Media Football Tournament kicks-off today at the BFF Artificial Turf.
Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) has arranged the football meet under auspices of Square Toiletries Limited.
To mark the upcoming football competition, a press conference was held at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium of Bangladesh Olympic Association Bhaban on Thursday. The jersey unveiled programme and the draw ceremony were also held at the same venue on the same day.
President of BSJA ATM Sayeeduzzaman, General Secretary of BSJA Raihan Al Mughni, Head of Marketing of Square Toiletries Limited Malik Md Sayeed and Convener of the Kool-BSJA Media Football Tournament Committee Anisur Rahman were present at the conference.
A total of 24 media houses splitting into eight groups are taking part in the football meet. Bdnews24.com, ATN Bangla, New Age are in Group A, Maasranga TV, ATN News, Jugantor are in Group B, Jamuna TV, NTV, BSS are in Group C, Bangla Vision, Boishakhi TV, The Independent are in Group D, RTV, GTV, Manabzamin are in Group E, The Daily Star, Channel i, Sakaler Khabar are in Group F, Samay TV, SA TV, Alokito Bangladesh are in Group G, Dhaka Tribune, Samakal, Naya Diganta are in Group H.
Top one team from each group will get tickets of the quarterfinals. The winners of the quarterfinals will move into the semifinals. The winners of the two semifinals will face each other in the final.
