Sports Reporter :The Kool-BSJA Media Cup Football Tournament kicks-off today at the BFF Artificial Turf. Dhaka Tribune will face the Daily Naya Diganta in the first match at 8.00 am.State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder will formally open the football meet for the journalists.Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) has arranged the football competition under auspices of Square Toiletries Limited.A total of 25 electronic and print media splitting into eight groups are taking part in the football tournament. RTV, Banglanews24.com, the New Age are in Group A, Channel 24, Bdnews24.com, the Daily Bartaman are in Group B, Channel i, Dhaka Tribune, the Daily Naya Diganta are in Group C, the Daily Star, Sakaler Khabar, the Daily Sangram are in Group D, Ekattor TV, Boishakhi TV, UNB, Jamuna TV are in Group E, The New Nation, Bangla Vision, ATN News are in Group F, Alokito Bangladesh, Maasranga TV, Samay TV are in Group G, My TV, The Independent, Gazi TV are in Group H.Regarding the football tournament, a press conference was held at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium of Bangladesh Olympic Association Bhaban on Monday.President of BSJA Syeduzzaman, General Secretary of BSJA Saidur Rahman Shamim, Vice-President of BSJA and Convener of the Tournament Committee Arifur Rahman Babu, Head of Marketing of Square Toiletries Group Malik Md Sayeed, former captain of Bangladesh National Football team Aminul Haque spoke at the conference.Later, the jerseys of the participating teams were unveiled. Aminul Haque, Malik Md Sayeed, Sports Editor of Channel 24 Dilu Khondker, Arifur Rahmen Babu, Syeduzzaman, Saidur Rahman Shamim took part in the jersey-unveiling programme.
