Sheikh Arif Bulbon :After a long time, once popular TV actress Kongkon will be seen again on the screen in Eid-ul-Fitr. Once she was regularly seen in plays of Bangladesh Television (BTV). After getting married, leaving country and permanently settled down in Canada she detached with acting later. When she returned to Bangladesh for several days she had to work in one or two plays to keep requests from the directors. This time Kongkon has returned to Bangladesh for a long time to stay here. For this reason, she has again become engaged with acting in Eid plays under the direction of her very close directors. She has laredy finished shooting of Salauddin Lavlu’s Eid play Koinnya and Zahid Hasan’s Eid play Eid Mubarak. She acted in important roles in these two plays. Kongkon also informed that on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr, she will also work in two other plays under the direction of Gias Uddin Selim and Mahfuz Ahmed. But she yet not confirms schedules of these plays.While talking about her works in media after a long time Kongkon told this correspondent, “Many days I am out of acting. But when I return to Bangladesh and work in TV plays viewers know me, they call me by my name. When they emotionally ask me to know why I am not working in media I feel it is a real love from them to me. To keep in mind their loves, I have been working in several Eid plays. I believe viewers will enjoy my acting in these plays. Another thing is that earlier directors searched to find out actors in media. But now it is not seen, its very painful.”Meanwhile, due to necessary reason, Kongkon will go to India today. She will return to Bangladesh soon. During her childhood Kongkon learned dancing at BAFA. She started her acting career on TV screen when she was a student of Class X. She first acted in a play titled Emon Ekta Maa Dena, produced by Riazuddin Badshah, under the direction of Shahidul Haque Khan. Basically Kongkon came into limelight after working in this play. By this play she started to establish herself as an actress in media. Shesh Bikeler Rode, Jibon Mohona, Din Choley Jai, etc are mentionable plays of the beginning of Kongkon’s career. She has citizenship of both Canada and Bangladesh. Now she has been working in a law firm in Canada. Besides, she has another law firm in Bangladesh. Her all dreams are now concentrated with only son Anonnyo, Kongkon said.
