They have to perform in many stage programmes inside and outside the country.This winter popular singer Kona will have to be engaged with several stage performances in different parts of the country. Kona has already performed on December 4 and 5. Today she will perform at Spectra Convention Centre in the capital’s Gulshan area. Therefore, she will also perform in other stage shows in Khulna on December 12, at Kaliakair of Gazipur on December 13 and 14, at Gazipur Agriculture Research Centre on December 15, in Nawabganj, adjacent to Dhaka on Victory Day, December 16 and in Comilla on December 18. Meanwhile, on December 26 Kona will also perform in a programme of a renowned school of Dhaka. While sharing her feelings about stage performances Kona told this correspondent, “Basically winter is the season of our stage performances. In this season, we, the singers try to enthrall the audience by our level best performances. I have to be engaged with stage shows from today to next seven days at a time in different areas of the country. I have no other option to be engaged with my works except rendering songs. I shall try to impress the listeners by rendering songs in these programmes.” However, recently Kona gave her vocal for a playback song for Shahnewaj Shanu directed movie Buker Majhe Prem-er Agun under the direction of Ali Akram Shuvo. Porimoni will perform as a model in this movie, she said.
