National Film Award winning popular singer Dilshad Nahar Kona is now busy with stage shows, releasing her original songs, giving voice over and rendering songs for dramas. Shooting of Rubel Hasan
directed single episode drama titled Chinki Pinki has already been completed. Popular TV actress of present generation Tanjin Tisha played in twin roles in this drama.
Kona informed that for Tanjin Tisha, Kona lent her voice for the song in the drama Chinki Pinki. Title of the song is: Tuito nachuni buri, Tate porle dhaker bari, Uthon baka holeo haire, Korish disco dance. Talented music composer and director JK Majlish has composed tunes of this song besides arranging music of the song. While talking about the song, Kona said, “Basically Chinki and Pinki are two twin sisters. Story of the drama revolves with them. Lyrics of the song were written to keep in mind the story of the drama. Dip wrote the lyrics nicely and JK Majlish has composed tunes and music well. I had to travel a long distance to reach into the studio to lend my voice for the song. On the streets, I felt bad due to wastage of so many times. But after rendering the song, I felt really good. I hope everybody will like and enjoy the song.”
Kona rendered this song based drama Chinki Pinki will be aired on coming Eid-ul-Azha on a YouTube channel. Mejbaur Rahman Sumon wrote story of the drama Chinki Pinki. Kamrul Islam Shuvo worked as DoP in the drama.
Kona earlier rendered many songs for dramas. She has already established her reliability and confidence in this field. Therefore, Kona is passing busy times with stage shows.
Kona informed that she has scheduled to perform in Sylhet on June 11, in a programme to be organized by Atish Dipankar University on June 13 and in a stage show in Cox’s Bazar on June 17.
It is noted that Kona got the National Film Award for the first time for rendering song titled Tui ki amar hobire, which lyrics were written by Kabir Bokul and music was composed by singer Imran, with Imran. This song was used in Chayanika Chowdhury directed movie Bishwosundori.
