In the field of playback songs in Bangla cinemas, there is demand of Dilshad Nahar Kona’s voice due to her rendering style and melodious vocal. For this reason, Kona’s numbers of playback songs are huge rather than her own original songs. So, now producers, directors and music directors feel comfortable to take her to render playback songs. Producer Md Iqbal is giving direction of movie Revenge where Bubly is paired up with Roshan. Kona has lent her voice for two songs of this movie. She rendered an ‘item song’ titled Mon Aamar Prem-er Current Khelore, and a romantic song titled Dil Asiana. Director of the movie Md Iqbal wrote lyrics of the ‘item song,’ while Linkon has composed its tune and music. Prasenjit Mallick lent his voice with Kona in this song. On the other hand, Salauddin Sagor wrote lyrics of the romantic song, Dil Asiana. FA Pritom has composed tunes of this song, while Akassh Sen has arranged its music. Akassh Sen is co-singer of Kona in this song, Kona said.
Meanwhile, Kona and Imran rendered a duet song titled Ki Kori, which was used in Bubly and Siam starred and Raihan Rafi directed web film Taan. This song has already created hype among the music-lovers. Kona and Imran’s rendering styles impressed the listeners. Rangan Chakraborty wrote lyrics of the song, while Zahid Nirob has composed its music. While talking about lending her voice for songs in Revenge and Taan, Kona said, “I am getting positive response for the song Ki Kori of web film, Taan. I have also liked the song. I have lent my voice for two songs for movie Revenge. Lyrics and music of the ‘item song’ is really nice. I am hopeful about this song. The romantic song Dil Asiana has also become nice. In fact, I think both these two songs have become superb. For this reason, my expectation about these two songs is being increased. Now time will say what will be happened.”
Meanwhile, Kona also said that on Tuesday Mahtim Shakib has rendered a new duet song with her. Within very soon, Imran will also render three new songs with Kona for a new satellite channel and Imran’s own channel. For BRAC few days ago, Kona rendered a song under Manam Ahmed’s music composition. Kona has recently performed as a model in a music video, the singer added.
