Listeners’ choice popular singer Dilshad Nahar Kona went to Kolkata recently. For two reasons she went there. One was to give her voice for a play-back song in a movie and another reason was to receive the honour.
On June 3, Kona gave her voice for a song titled Bondhu tumi biney pran bancheyna for Wajed Ali Sumon’s movie Mone Rekho. She gave her voice at a recording studio in Kolkata under the lyrics written by Priyo Chatterjee and music composed by Akash.
While talking about the song Kona told this correspondent, “If I want to talk about the song I can say it was really an outstanding song. I am always choosy about the play-back song. I believe this song will be enriched my music career. I am really delighted to render the song. I hope listeners will also enjoy the song.”
Kona also informed that Akash also render the song with Kona. Kolkata’s Bonny Sengupta is acting against Bangladesh’s Mahiya Mahi in this movie.
Meanwhile, yesterday evening Kona received ‘Tele-Cine Award’ in Kolkata as Best Singer. From Bangladesh she got the award. After getting the award Kona is very much delighted. Kona is likely returns to Dhaka.
On the occasion of coming Eid, Shakib Khan and Shuvashree acted movie Nawab is going to be released where Kona gave her voice for a play-back song titled O DJ. She is very much optimistic about this song, Kona said.
