Dilshad Nahar Kona is one of the popular singers of our country now. She has impressed the listeners by virtue of her outstanding rendering style and presenting nice songs among the music-lovers. Now she has been passing busy days with stage shows.
Four years ago, Kona first performed in the National Film Award giving ceremony. She rendered the song titled Swapno Dekhi of Shakib Khan and Mahi-starrer movie titled Bhalobasha Ajkal.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was present as the chief guest in the programme and she enjoyed Kona’s performances. Recently for the second time, Kona performed in the National Film Award distribution ceremony where she rendered the song titled Ohe Shyam Tomare Ami Noyone Noyone Rakhibo on Raihan Rafi-directed movie Poramon-2.
Recently Kona-rendered a play-back song titled Tui Ki Aamar Hobirey of Siam-Porimoni-starrer movie Biswa Sundori has been released. Kabir Bokul wrote lyrics of the song while Imran composed its music.
While talking about her engagement with music Kona told this correspondent, “Now I am passing very busy times with stage shows. On December 25, I will perform in a show in Narayanganj. Therefore, I have schedules to perform in stage shows in Pabna and Sylhet on December 28 and 29 respectively. However, my new play-back song for movie Jinn will be released in January. I have rendered the play-back song with Imran which music was composed by Emon Saha.”
