Due to starting the season of stage shows popular singer Kona has been engaged with different performances. So she cannot give time to render any new song or making any new music video right now. In fact, round this month Kona has to be engaged with various stage shows. For this reason, she cannot manage time for her three new music videos now.
Last Friday Kona went to Rangamati to perform in a stage show on the observance of 50 years of Rangamati Girls School. She met Aparna and Toya there. After attending that show she returned to Dhaka to attend another stage performance at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city where Kona rendered songs for show of the physicians. Kona has to be engaged with other stage shows round the month.
While talking in this regard she told this correspondent, “I am grateful to Allah because I have been passing a busy time in the season of stage shows. I am really satisfied but it is true that for these shows making of my three new music videos remain stalled. It will not possible for me to manage time this month for these three videos. I hope next month I will complete these.”
From childhood Kona has been performing in different stage shows. In 2000, she first professionally performed in a stage show in the city’s Gulshan area’s an aristocratic restaurant. Kona can still remember she rendered a song of Asha Bhosley in that show. She got Tk 2,000 from that show as her remuneration.
Meanwhile, more than 99 viewers have already watched video of Kona rendered a song titled Dil Dil in Sakib Khan acted, Topi Khan produced and Shamim Ahmed Roni directed movie Bossgiri in last six months. It is a record in present time’s Bangla movie arena. Imran was co-singer Kona in that song which lyrics was written by Kabir Bakul and music was composed by Shawkat Ali Emon.
However, last week Kona has presented with her new music video titled Selfie. She gave her voice under the lyrics and composition of Autumnal Moon.
