Popular actor Chanchal Chowdhury acted in several numbers of seven-episode serials on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha. Regarding the necessity of the story he will be also seen in an exceptional way in Imraul Rafat’s Eid serial titled ‘Kolkata’r Dadababu.’ He played its title role in the serial. Already its shooting has been finished in Old Dhaka. It will be aired in any satellite channel in Eid.
Written by Apel Mahmud there will be seen two families of a Muslim and Hindu live in a common area. Once Chanchal’s previous generation settled here from Kolkata. This type of story will be shown in the serial.
While talking about acting in this serial Chanchal Chowdhury told this correspondent, “When Eid comes most of the time it is seen that comedy types plays and serials are to be made to entertain the viewers. But this serial is serious typed where I acted in role of Kolkata’s Dada Bau. I enjoyed a lot working in that role. Viewers will enjoy the serial during Eid.”
Besides this, Chanchal will be also seen to act in two other serials – ‘Hero Jokhon Villain’ and ‘Choritro Stri.’ Both these serials are made by Masud Sezan. Till yesterday Chanchal was engaged with shooting of Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s telefilm ‘Ayesha.’ Tisha is his co-actress in the telefilm which will be aired on Channel i in Eid.
