KOICA Alumni Night held

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Korea Bangladesh Alumni Association (KBAA) held its annual event of the year known as “KOICA Alumni Night 2015” in a city hotel on Thursday to celebrate and strengthen the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Korea.
Ahn Seong-doo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bangladesh, Monzur Hossain, President of KBAA and Chairman, Rupali Bank Limited and Kim Jihoon, Country Director, KOICA Bangladesh Office, among others, were present at the occasion.
Korean Ambassador Ahn Seong-doo in his congratulatory speech laid emphasis on the growing relationship between Korea and Bangladesh. He also pointed out how KBAA night was acting as a platform to maintain a close collaboration between the two countries.
“KOICA-Bangladesh Alumni Association is a major arena and assets for Korean Embassy to serve the common people of Bangladesh and KBAA members are the representative of both Bangladesh and Korea to uphold the bilateral relationship between the two countries,” the Ambassador said.
Kim Jihoon, Country Director, KOICA Bangladesh Office, said, “KBAA under its current leadership is taking several significant initiatives in terms of socio-economic development for sustainable development in Bangladesh”.
