Shikhar Dhawan will lead India in the One Day International (ODI) series against Zimbabwe, following a 3-0 series sweep of the West Indies earlier this month.
Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rishabh Pant were conspicuous omissions from India’s 15-man ODI team for the Zimbabwe tour.
Hardik Pandya and Mohammad Shami were also absent from the list, which was released on Saturday, July 30.
Washington Sundar made a return to the squad after recovering from injury and recently appearing in county cricket while Rahul Tripathi was added to the mix.
