On April 17 of this year, country’s one of the legendary actors Kobori died of Covid-19. Many actors of Kobori’s next generation got the opportunity to work with her in movies. Due to political reason, popular film actress Shahnoor had good contact with Kobori because Kobori was Secretary of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote where Shahnoor works as Film Affairs Secretary of the alliance. For this reason, they often met in different programmes of the Sangskritik Jote. Demise of Kobori gave a lot of pain to Shahnoor. According to Shahnoor, she always thinks about the legendary actress and her works. She never forgets her. While talking in this regard Shahoor said, “I cannot think my dearest Kobori Apa is not alive. Due to corona pandemic, I am staying at my home now and there is no programme of Sangskritik Jote. When any programme of the alliance will be held, I will never see Kobori Apa. She remains in thought of my mind. She loved me so much. I also honoured her. I always think about Kobori Apa’s activities. I can always recall memories with her. May Allah grant her Jannah. Few days ago, I made a short film on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In fact, I really got inspiration from her to give direction.”
Shahnoor also said she watched Kobori-starrer movies including Sutorang. I have already finished shooting of Mostafizur Rahman Manik directed movie Ashirbad and Rafiq Shikder directed movie Bosonto Bikel. I have a self-titled foundation, which stands by the street and repressed children, helpless people due to various reasons and repressed women, Shahnoor also said.
