Kiwis not interested to play practice match

New Zealand Cricket team will arrive in Dhaka on August 24. A practice match between the Kiwis and the Selected XI of Bangladesh is scheduled to held on August 29 an the BKSP Ground. But the Kiwis are not interested to play any practice match during their tour of Bangladesh.
New Zealand Cricket team will play five Twenty20 International (T20I) match against Bangladesh Cricket team. The five T20I matches will take place on September 1, 3,5,8, 10. All the T20I matches will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. All the clashes will be Day/Night affairs.
New Zealand Cricket team will take a three-day quarantine after they arrive in Dhaka. Then they will take part in their practice session. A practice match is scheduled to held on August 29 at the BKSP Ground.
Selector of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Abdur Razzak said, ” New Zealand Cricket team are not interested to play a practice match. This matter is not finalized but it is now in the discussion.”
It may be mentioned that Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das could not compete in the five-match T20I Australia series due to their personal reasons. So, If the Kiwis will not play a practice match, Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das will not get chance to play a preparation match before the T20I matches.
Abdur Razzak said, ” A Selected XI of Bangladesh are scheduled to play against New Zealand. But as the Kiwis are not interested to play practice match, so, Bangladesh can not take part in practice match.”
