The supply of winter vegetables has increased in the kitchen markets of the port city. Prices have also come down.Besides, the prices of meat and fish have remained unchanged.
The present retail selling prices to tomato is Tk 100, 30-40 taka of cauliflower, 40-45taka of old potato, 50 taka of new potato, 25 taka of sweet and bangla pumpkin, 40 taka of barbati, 40 taka of bitter gourd, 40 taka of patal, 30 taka of bean.
Carrots are being sold at Tk 40, , cabbage at Tk 20-25, leaveflower at Tk 30, cucumbers at Tk 30, radish at Tk 15, papaya at Tk 20 and green chillies at Tk 100.Pond shrimps are being sold at Tk 450 per kg, Rui at Tk 200, Rupchanda at Tk 550, Katal at Tk 240, Niletica at Tk 120, Kai at Tk 450, Shing at Tk 500, Popa at Tk 250, Pangas at Tk 120, Bata at Tk 220 and Pabda at Tk 400 , Laita 100 taka.Broiler chickens are being sold at Tk 115 per kg, golden chickens at Tk 200 per kg, beef at Tk 600-700 per kg and mutton at Tk 650-700 per kg.
