The proposed budget for fiscal year 2022-23 of Kishoreganj Municipality has been announced a Tk 92.96 crore without new tax.
Md Parvez Mia, Mayor of Kishoreganj Municipality officially presented the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2022-2023 at his office conference room on Wednesday noon.
The budget emphasizes education, health, recreation, information technology, water supply, waste collection and removal management, construction of drains, roads and infrastructure, repair renovation, urban infrastructure development, construction of multi-storey municipal supermarkets, sanitation and construction of dumping depots.
In the proposed budget, the revenue of the revenue sector has been fixed at Tk 20 crore 51 lakh 69 thousand 736, the revenue of the water supply sector has been fixed at Tk 4 crore 63 lakh 54 thousand 650, the revenue of the development sector has been fixed at Tk 5 crore 82 lakh 26 thousand 7, 60 crore 12 lakh 25 thousand 71 taka and in the capital sector 1 crore 98 lakh taka 98 thousand 500 taka income has been taken.
With a surplus of Tk 58 lakh 99 thousand 592, the proposed budget has included expenditure of Tk 20 crore 29 lakh 25 thousand in the revenue sector, Tk 4 crore 6 lakh 10 thousand in the water supply sector and Tk 5 crore 82 lakh 26 thousand 7 in the development sector. 59 crore 93 lakh 33 thousand 26 taka has been estimated in the project sector and 1 crore 90 lakh taka has been estimated in the capital sector.
