Young man killed by his rival
A young man was killed by his rival groups at Daspara paddy field in Itna upazila on Friday night.The victim was identified as Md. Asas Miah (35) son of Md. Abdul Khaleque Bhuiyan in Nadihatti village in Itna Sadar. Itna Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Abdul Maleque said that, received on information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body.Victim rivel groups stabbed him to death. The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj 250- Bed General Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was field in this connection with Itna Police Station.
Lightning kills agri worker in Bhairab
An agri-worker was killed after being struck by lighting in Bhabanipur village of Sreenagar union under Bhairab Upazila of Kishoreganj on Saturday afternoon. The agri-worker was identified as Alamgir Hossion in Bhabanipur village of Bhairab upazila. He was working in the jute field.

The 30th annual general meeting of Kishoreganj Chamber of Commerce and Industries was held at Local Authithee Community Center in the town on Sunday noon. Zila Parished Chairman Advocate Md. Zillur Rahman attended as chief guest while Chamber President Md. Mujibur Rahman Belal in the chair. It was addressed among others by Senior Vice-President Sheikh Farid, Women Chamber President Fatamatuz Zohora, Chamber Leader Khalequzzaman, Women Chamber Leader Bilkis Begum and Bara Bazar Merchant Association President Md. A discussion meeting on Nature for water held at local collectorate conference room on Tuesday morning. Deputy Commissioner Md.
